KINDRED FOREST

Ben Nickson took a career break to go travelling through South America. It was during this trip that he lived with an Achuar community and explored remote regions of the Bolivian Amazon. After learning of the wild Beniano cacao that has won multiple ‘best chocolate in the world’ awards, he resolved to start a company selling natural and sustainably harvested products that would in turn support indigenous communities.

Using their traditional knowledge and techniques, Kindred Forest will produce premium chocolates from this single-source origin, in an entirely non-destructive way. Paying above market rates, proceeds will then be put back into flourishing the rainforest environments in which they live.
